Hamsa hails from Baghdad, Iraq where she also finished her dentistry degree in 2003.
She moved to Germany in 2008 and then to the UK in 2012.
After arriving in the UK she went onto obtaining a Master degree in Aesthetic Medicine from Queen Mary University, London.
